Build a Bridge Mediation – Our Approach
Our mediators meet with all the parties prior to the mediation to provide details of the process and to address any concerns or questions about the mediation process.
We work with the participants in order to understand the current situation and their individual needs. We ordinarily use a negotiation methodology known as interest-based or principled negotiation. This approach encourages everyone to focus on resolving the problem using a structured results-oriented process, with the end goal of reaching mutually acceptable outcomes.
